The 2024 MLS Cup MVP joined Nashville in a blockbuster trade from the LA Galaxy, with Sean Davis heading the other way. When building the roster, Mike Jacobs noted that BJ Callaghan would often say that he wanted a player "like Gastón Brugman". So Nashville went out and got Gastón Brugman.
