2025 report cards

In one of the more surprising developments of 2025, Josh Bauer finished as Nashville SC's joint third-highest scorer, bagging four goals and impressing in multiple roles across the backline. The 27-year-old defender did everything that was asked of him, and looks capable of playing a larger role in 2026.

Bauer was buried in the center back depth chart for most of the year, stuck in a log jam behind Walker Zimmerman, Jeisson Palacios and Jack Maher. While he saw a handful of minutes in the middle, the bulk of his action came as a fullback.
