Position: Right back
School: University of Kentucky

With their first pick of the draft, Nashville selected right back Max Miller from the University of Kentucky, a native of Lexington, KY, who also played for FC Cincinnati in MLS NEXT.

Miller, 22, is a fourth-year senior who captained UK for his final three years. Despite missing the 2024 season with injury, he played 53 matches in total, scoring two goals and adding eleven assists. He's able to play on both sides of the backline.

Nashville need depth at both fullback spots. Miller is likely due for some time in MLS NEXT Pro before he's ready to compete for serious minutes in MLS, but could develop into a contributor.

Rd 3, Pick 80: Charles-Emile Brunet

Position: Central midfielder
School: Southern Methodist University, University of Central Arkansas

With the last pick, Nashville took Charles-Emile Brunet, an attacking box-to-box midfielder from Montreal, Quebec, who played three yeras at Ahuntsic College in Montréal before moving to the United States for his freshman year at the University of Central Arkansas. He eventually transferred to SMU for his sophomore year. In two seasons at the collegiate level, Brunet made 36 appearances (33 starts), logging four goals and seven assists.

Brunet was a standout at the MLS college showcase, projected by several analysts to go in the first round. Part of the CF Montréal academy at the youth levels, Brunet is more of a No. 10, but played as a No. 8 for SMU. An adept ball-progressor, Brunet is an interesting option for Nashville to develop.
