NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville SC will re-sign midfielder Bryan Acosta for the 2026 season with an option for 2027, sources have confirmed to SixOneFive Soccer.
Acosta, 32, joined Nashville ahead of the 2025 campaign and made 19 appearances (four starts) in all competitions. The former Designated Player has six seasons of MLS experience with Nashville, FC Dallas and the Portland Timbers. His contract option was declined after the season.
While he played less than 600 minutes in 2025, he's a full international for Honduras and earned less than $200,000 last year. Bringing him back gives Nashville veteran and reliable depth at a very minimal cap hit, while still allowing them the budget flexibility to make some bigger signings.
