NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville SC are set to make another addition in the summer transfer window, adding midfielder Famara Camara to the squad. Sources confirm to SixOneFive Soccer that Nashville agreed to a deal for the midfielder that could reach $2.5 million, making Camara the sixth-most expensive signing in Nashville history.
Eirik Nesset Hjelvik was first to report.
Camara, 21, joins from Ranheim in the second tier of the Norwegian pyramid. He's a versatile central midfielder, primarily operating as a holding midfielder, but also capable of playing in a more box-to-box role. A native of M'bour, Senegal, Camara made his professional debut for Keur Madior FC. He joined Ranheim in 2025, where he's logged one goal and three assists in 40 appearances.
This is an absolutely loaded roster for Nashville SC.

Camara joins a Nashville SC midfield that already includes standouts like Patrick Yazbek, Eddi Tagseth, and Matt Corcoran. The trio played the bulk of the minutes in the first portion of the season, although Tagseth and Yazbek missed a combined 11 matches with injury heading into the break. Bryan Acosta and Charles-Émile Brunet provide depth.
Camara will add quality as a No. 6 (defensive midfielder), giving Nashville a different profile. He's comfortable sitting in front of the backline and shielding the defense, while also possessing the passing range to advance the ball and put his team on the front foot.
Nashville are set to return to play on Friday, July 17, taking on Atlanta United at Geodis Park.
