NASHVILLE, TN – Five Nashville SC players have been called up to represent their nations during the upcoming FIFA November international window.
Andy Nájar and Bryan Acosta will represent Honduras in their 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Nicaragua (November 13) and Costa Rica (November 18). Acosta has represented Honduras 70 times in his career, while Nájar has been capped 63 times. Honduras currently lead Group C with eight points from their first four games. The three group winners will automatically qualify for the tournament, while the best two runners up will also participate.
Woobens Pacius has been called up to the Haitian national team. The forward, who scored a team-leading 14 goals on loan with Tampa Bay Rowdies in the USL Championship this season, made his international debut last October. They'll play Costa Rica (November 13) and Nicaragua (November 18). Haiti are in third place in Group C, three points behind Honduras and within reach of one of the two spots as a runner up.
Xavier Valdez will play for the Dominican Republic in their friendlies against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (November 12) and Martinique (November 18). Valdez has been the starter for his country for over a year, earning 19 caps.
Lastly, 18-year-old Chris Applewhite will play for the United States U19s in their games against Germany (November 12), Wales (November 15) and Japan (November 18). The USMNT U19s are playing in the UEFA U-19 tournament in North Wales as they continue their journey to qualify for the 2027 U19 World Cup.
