NASHVILLE, TN – On Tuesday, Nashville SC forward Hany Mukhtar was fined an undisclosed amount by the MLS Disciplinary Committee for violating the league's policy regarding simulation/embellishment. The incident happened in the 26th minute of Nashville's 4–1 win over Austin FC on Saturday.
Mukhtar received contact from Austin midfielder Ervin Torres, but went down holding his face when the contact was clearly to his chest. Torres did not receive a yellow card for the incident.
