Huntsville City FC announced the signing of four players ahead of tonight's 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season opener.
Midfielder Angel Iniguez signs after four seasons with San Jose State University. In 71 appearances, he logged 28 goals and 25 assists, bringing a key creative presence to Huntsville City.
Midfielder Jayvin Van Deventer is another player from the collegiate ranks. The defensive midfielder played at Northwestern for four seasons, making 64 appearances in which he scored three goals and added 11 assists.
Goalkeeper Will Mackay is an exciting young addition. The 17-year-old is a product of the Real Salt Lake academy, and has already made 35 appearances in MLS NEXT Pro with Real Monarchs, where he has earned seven clean sheets.
Finally, forward Light Eke joins Huntsville pending receipt of his visa. The 19-year-old winger has one goal in four caps for Nigeria's U17 team, and joins from Collins Edwin Sports Club in Lagos.
