Inter Miami CF will be without one of their star players for their crucial win-or-go-home playoff match against Nashville SC on Saturday. According to a report from The Athletic's Tom Bogert, and confirmed by SixOneFive Soccer, Miami striker Luis Suárez has been suspended for one match and fined an undisclosed amount by the MLS Disciplinary Committee for violent conduct.

In the 71st minute of Nashville's 2-1 win in the second leg of their Round One MLS Cup Playoff series, Suárez kicked out at Nashville defender Andy Nájar off the ball, sending the right back to the ground.

No yellow card was shown in the moment by referee Allen Chapman, nor was a foul even called.

Additionally, Ian Fray has been fined an undisclosed for simulation/embellishment for an incident in the fourth minute of the match that resulted in an early yellow card for Eddi Tagseth. The card was the primary factor in Tagseth's substitution in the 63rd minute, according to Nashville coach BJ Callaghan.

Nashville will travel to Ft. Lauderdale for the third and final match of the series. Whoever wins the match will advance to take on either FC Cincinnati or Columbus Crew in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
