Isaiah Jones made history on Saturday night. Late in the second half of Nashville SC’s 2-1 loss to DC United, the 18-year-old became the first-ever product of Nashville’s academy to make an appearance for the first team.

The Thompson Station native (and younger brother of New York City FC’s Malachi Jones) was signed as Nashville’s second-ever homegrown player before the start of the 2024 season, making three appearances on the bench this season before seeing the field for the final seven minutes plus stoppage time in the nation’s capitol.
