Nashville SC cruised past Orlando City on Saturday, matching their largest-ever margin of victory with a 5-0 win.
Sam Surridge was named Player of Matchday 5, scoring a hat-trick to take over the Golden Boot lead with seven goals already in 2026. After scoring 31 goals in all competitions last season, Surridge has picked up right where he left off.

Midfielder Cristian Espinoza was also named to the Team of the Matchday. He opened the scoring with an early rocket, and set up two of Surridge's goals, including an incredible run from his own half to assist the hat-trick sealing strike.
Head coach BJ Callaghan was named Coach of the Matchday, with Nashville taking the early lead in the Supporters' Shield race. Through five matches, Nashville have yet to lose a game, outscoring their opponents 13-2.
