Nashville SC have called up Huntsville City midfielder Alan Carleton for their match against New York City FC.
The 20-year-old attacker made his MLS debut earlier this season in a 1-0 win against DC United, coming off the bench for the final 21 minutes. With Alex Muyl suspended and Tyler Boyd not quite fit to make the squad after being upgraded to questionable on the injury report, Carleton brings some needed attacking depth off the bench.

Carleton has been the standout player for Huntsville in MLS NEXT Pro this season, and among the very best players in the league. In 16 appearances, Carleton has bagged 10 goals and six assists.
This is the third short-term call-up for Carleton this season. Per MLS rules, players may be called up a maximum of four times per season and can only appear in two matches before requiring a full MLS contract.
