On Tuesday, the MLS Disciplinary Committee released their decisions for Matchday 20. Nashville SC striker Sam Surridge has been fined for violating the league's simulation/embellishment policies in the seventh minute of first-half stoppage time during Saturday's 4-1 win over Inter Miami.

Surridge, 28, spent much of the match on the floor after heavy challenges from Miami centerbacks Gonzalo Luján and Maxi Falcón. The striker got his 12th goal of the MLS regular season in the second half, flicking a cross from Cristian Espinoza past Rocco Ríos-Novo. In all competitions, Surridge has logged 14 goals in just over 1,500 minutes.
