NASHVILLE, TN - Two Nashville SC players have been added to the MLS All-Star roster. Hany Mukhtar and Sam Surridge will both head to Austin, Texas, next week, selected by Austin FC coach Nico Estévez to take on a team of All-Star's from Mexico's Liga MX.

Hany Mukhtar earns his fourth-consecutive spot on the All-Star team. The 2022 MLS MVP has been one of the best players in the league this year, with 10 goals and eight assists from 22 matches. His 18 goal contributions are the sixth-most in the league, leading Nashville to their best start in club history.

"I’m incredibly proud and honored to be named to the All-Star team for the fourth time," Mukhtar said in the club's release. "It means so much to be recognized among such talented players, and I’m truly grateful for the support from my teammates, coaches, and fans. This is a moment I don’t take for granted, and I’m excited to represent Nashville!"

Sam Surridge makes the All-Star team for the first time after joining Nashville in the summer of 2023. Last year, with Nashville missing the playoffs for the first time ever, Surridge lead the team with 12 goals in 28 matches. In 2025, he's found a completely new level. The Englishman is tied with Lionel Messi on top of the Golden Boot race, already scoring 16 goals from just 22 matches. Surridge will also take place in the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge on Tuesday night.

"I'm really happy to be selected and also happy to be selected with Andy and Hany as well," said Surridge. "It just shows how well we've been doing collectively as a team. I'm looking forward to having a really fun time and it is a big achievement."

Surridge and Mukhtar join Andy Nájar in Austin, who was named to initial roster at the end of June. The right back leads all defenders with an impressive eight assists from 21 games, adding a goal as well.
