NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville SC announced two signings on Wednesday, trading for defender Isaiah LeFlore from Philadelphia Union and winger Shakur Mohammed from Orlando City.

LeFlore, 23, was acquired from Philadelphia in exchange for Nashville's position in the MLS waiver order. The left back is a product of the Sporting Kansas City academy, making his professional debut with Sporting KC II before stints with Braga B (Portugal) and Houston Dynamo II. LeFlore signed with the Union in 2023, but didn't make an appearance with the first team, playing 20 times for their reserve side in MLS NEXT Pro before finishing the 2025 season on loan with Detroit City FC in the USL Championship.

At the MLS NEXT Pro and USL Championship levels, LeFlore has logged four goals and nine assists in 55 career appearances, and was a standout for Detroit after joining in August. He gives Nashville needed depth behind Dan Lovitz, and could grow into a bigger role.

Mohammed, 22, was the second overall pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft after two years at Duke University, where he scored 13 goals and added nine assists in 37 games. Selected by Orlando City, he made 79 appearances for their reserve side in MLS NEXT Pro, scoring 28 goals. He also made five appearance for the first team. In exchange for Mohammed, Nashville send Orlando their third round pick in the 2027 MLS SuperDraft.

In the last three seasons in MLS NEXT Pro, only two players have scored more goals per game than Mohammed, who averages 0.42 goals per 96 minutes played.

“Shak is a talented attacking player who has been a bright prospect in college and in MLS NEXT Pro, and we are excited to see him continue to grow into his potential with us here in Nashville,” said Nashville SC President of Soccer Operations and General Manager Mike Jacobs in the club's press release. “Isaiah is a talented young left back who has gained some valuable experiences domestically and abroad, and we are excited to add him to our club.”
