Haiti snapshot
After a loss to Saudi Arabia and draw against Trinidad & Tobago, Haiti head into their last group stage match needing a win against the USA and loss from Saudi Arabia to pull an upset and get out of the group.
They've been rather unfortunate so far this tournament, outplaying Saudi Arabia in their 1-0 loss and wasting loads of chances against Trinidad. Despite playing down a man for 50-plus minutes, Haiti still managed to look dangerous on the break, with Frantzdy Pierrot (the third-highest all-time scorer for Haiti) grabbing a goal to earn a point.
Jean-Kévin Duverne's red card means that Haiti will be without one of their first-choice center backs, but they'll still look to play with their typical low-block-and-counter approach. Danley Jean Jacques is a fantastic two-way midfielder, and his ability to win the ball and quickly feed attackers in space will be crucial to their game plan.

United States snapshot
The USMNT weren't inspiring by any means in their 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia, but with two wins from their first two matches, they enter this match knowing that they're already through to the knockout rounds.
Playing their third match in seven days, head coach Mauricio Pochettino has a difficult choice; rotate and lose what little momentum they've built up, or play a full-strength team and fatigue the team even more. If he does opt to rotate, how he handles the back three shape he's used in buildup will be a major point to watch. Does he play three natural center backs across the backline, or will he drop a midfielder deep like he did with Seb Berhalter last match?

The biggest news for the USMNT this week was the departure of striker Haji Wright. The forward has been dealing with an Achilles issue, and after not being involved against Saudi Arabia, he's returned to Coventry to continue recovering. With Wright out, the options at the No. 9 role are thin. If Patrick Agyemang is given a rest, it's down to Brian White or Damion Downs to lead the line against Haiti. Neither option is particularly inspiring.
