NASHVILLE, TN - Nashville SC are less than a week away from taking the field once again. Sources confirmed to Broadway Sports Media on Thursday that Nashville SC will play FC Dallas on August 12 and 16, with both games played at Toyota Stadium in Frisco (3rd Degree was first to report the match scheduled for August 12).

Paul Tenorio of The Athletic confirmed the story, additionally reporting that the games would be open to fans. Texas currently allows venues to allow fans at 50% capacity, with Tenorio reporting entrance will likely be limited to a certain number of season ticket holders.

Dallas and Nashville both missed the MLS is Back Tournament due to Covid-19 outbreaks within their traveling parties. Since each team’s three group stage matches counted towards the regular season, the two sides will play each other three times to make up the missed games, in addition to their regular season schedule.
Details on the remainder of the 2020 regular season are expected shortly. Nashville SC declined to comment on these reports, per club policy.
