2025 in review

Boyd tore his ACL in a freak non-contact injury last July, just days before BJ Callaghan took charge of Nashville SC. It was a painfully ironic twist for a player who needed a more progressive style of play, and a team who needed more goal threats from the wings.

Boyd didn't get back onto the pitch until August, playing just over 206 minutes and never fully regaining his match sharpness and impact. He ended up being involved in most match-day squads down the stretch, but never came close to breaking into the starting lineup.

There's an argument to be made that an incomplete grade would also be fair.

Moment of the season

After 409 days of rehab and recovery, Boyd finally made his return to the pitch for Nashville SC.

Looking ahead

Hopefully with a full preseason, Boyd can force his way to more minutes and give Nashville some needed help on the wings. If he can get back to his prior level, he'll be a major asset.
