NASHVILLE, TN - Nashville SC captain Walker Zimmerman was called up to the United States Men's National Team roster on Sunday. The USMNT will hold a pre-Gold Cup training camp, culminating with a pair of friendlies against Türkiye (June 7 - Hartford, CT) and Switzerland (June 10 - Nashville, TN).
Zimmerman, 32, missed almost two months for Nashville SC after suffering a concussion against Charlotte on April 5. The center back has 293 appearances in MLS, 144 with Nashville. He's a four-time MLS All-Star (2019, 2021, 2023, 2023), five-time MLS Best XI inclusion (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) and two-time MLS Defender of the Year (2020 and 2021).
Zimmerman has three goals in 44 caps for the United States, including playing in all four matches at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Aside from the 2025 January camp, Zimmerman hasn't been named to a USMNT roster since June 2023.
