In just over one week, Nashville SC will take the field for the first time in 55 days, with the league pausing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Nashville entered the break in elite form – on top of the Eastern Conference and Supporters' Shield tables with 33 points from 14 games, on a nine-match unbeaten run in MLS play, while also making a run to the semifinals of the Concacaf Champions Cup.

The summer transfer window opens on Monday, July 13, and Nashville will take the field again the following Friday, facing off against Atlanta United at Geodis Park.

Today, we're diving into the positions Nashville still need to strengthen on the pitch to add depth and make a real push for silverware.
