NASHVILLE, TN – On Wednesday, Nashville SC announced the acquisition of defender Malachi Molina on loan from FC Dallas. Nashville also acquire Dallas's third-round pick in the 2028 MLS SuperDraft, and send their second-round pick to Dallas in exchange.
Molina will subsequently be sent to Huntsville City FC, Nashville's MLS NEXT Pro affiliate, for the 2026 season. As part of the package, Nashville have the option to acquire Molina permanently.
Molina, 19, signed a homegrown contract with Dallas in 2025, after playing with their affiliate North Texas FC since 2023. The young right back has made 34 appearances in MLS NEXT Pro, scoring four goals and adding three assists.
At the international level, Molina has represented Jamaica at the U17 and U20 levels, making six appearances for his country.
