NASHVILLE, TN – On Monday, Nashville SC announced the winners from the 2025 club award ceremony that took place on Sunday night at Geodis Park.
Sam Surridge
2025 Club MVP, Fan Favorite of the Year

Forward Sam Surridge was named Nashville SC's Most Valuable Player, as well as the Fan Favorite of the Year. In his second full season in Music City, Surridge has logged a career-high 27 goals in all competitions and is in third place in the MLS Golden Boot race.
Nashville have 13W-2D-1L when the All Star scores.
Hany Mukhtar
Offensive Player of the Year

Midfielder Hany Mukhtar was named the Offensive Player of the Year. He's tied with Surridge with 27 goal contributions in MLS play. His 16 goals are tied for his second-best goal scoring season ever in MLS with two regular season matches left to play.
Andy Nájar
Defensive Player of the Year

Fullback Andy Nájar took home the club's Defensive Player of the Year award. With two goals and 10 assists in MLS play, Nájar has recorded the most-ever goal contributions for a Nashville defender in a single season. He also logged an additional goal in the US Open Cup, and became the first Nashville player to record three primary assists in a single match during their 7-2 win over Chicago.

2025 Goal of the Year

Nashville's three All-Stars were jointly awarded the 2025 Goal of the Year after combining in a 3-0 win against Columbus Crew in July.

Eddi Tagseth
2025 Newcomer of the Year

Midfielder Eddi Tagseth was named Newcomer of the Year. The 24-year-old has become a fixture in the center of the pitch for the Coyotes since arriving from Rosenborg in the Norwegian top flight this winter. Appearing in 32 matches in all competitions, Tagseth has played the most minutes of any Nashville midfielder this season, adding three assists.
Taylor Washington
2025 Humanitarian of the Year

To the surprise of no one, Taylor Washington has been named the club's Humanitarian of the Year for the fifth-consecutive season. The USL original has spent the bulk of the season injured after damaging his MCL in the US Open Cup, but has continued his work off the field, partnering with Nashville Rescue Mission, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Dominic’s Toy Chest, and others.
Emmanual Arias
2025 Academy Player of the Year

Goalkeeper Emmanuel Arias was named Academy Player of the Year. The U15 'keeper played a total of 31 matches, including 22 up a level with the U16s. He logged 10 clean sheets (six with the U16s) and helped the U15s advance to the MLS NEXT National Semifinals. He also made two caps for the United States U15s, and is regarded as one of the most promising players in Nashville's academy pipeline.
Alan Carleton
2025 Huntsville City FC Player of the Year

Midfielder Alan Carleton was named Huntsville City FC player of the year (and wasn't at the ceremony, instead scoring a goal in Huntsville's 4-1 win over Inter Miami CF II at Joe Davis Stadium.
The 20-year-old leads Huntsville with 12 goals and six assists, and made his MLS debut earlier this season on a short-term loan to Nashville SC.
Zach Barrett
2025 Huntsville City FC Fan Player of the Year

Defender Zach Barrett was also on the pitch for Huntsville, but was named the club's Fan Player of the Year. Signed this winter, the 24-year-old has played in 24 matches, the second-most on the team, and has added a goal and two assists to help Huntsville qualify for the playoffs for the first time ever.
