Nashville SC drawn against Atlético Ottawa in Concacaf Champions Cup

The 'Yotes will begin their continental campaign in Canada

On Tuesday, Nashville SC learned their opponent for Round One of the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup.

The Boys In Gold will take on Atletico Ottawa, winners of the Canadian Premier League final, and making their debut in the Champions Cup.

Founded in 2020, Ottawa won the Canadian Premier League regular season in 2022, and added their first trophy in 2025 with a 2-1 win over Cavalry FC in blizzard conditions at their home TD Place Stadium.

Should Nashville advance to the Round of 16, they'll take on Inter Miami, who qualified after winning the 2025 MLS Cup. Miami knocked out Nashville at the same stage in the 2024 edition of the tournament, losing 5-3 on aggregate.

Nashville have played Miami 19 times in all competitions, more than any other opponent. Miami got the better of their Round One best-of-three series in the 2025 MLS Cup playoffs, winning both home legs to eliminate Nashville from the playoffs.

The first round will matchup will take place either from February 3-5 in Ottawa, with the return leg taking place on February 17-19 at Nashville's Geodis Park. Nashville are set to open their 2026 MLS season on Saturday, February 21, against New England Revolution.

The tournament will follow a two-legged, home-and-away format through the final, with away goals acting as the tiebreaker. The final is a single match, with extra time and penalty kicks deciding the winner if necessary.
