The 23-year-old midfielder has been a crucial part of Nashville SC's early success. He's played in all eight matches this seasons, making five starts and logging a pair of assists in a 3-1 win over Minnesota United.

He's been steadily inching towards a more consistent role with the Australian national team, and his club form could push him into more minutes this window as the Socceroos prepare to take on a World Cup group including the United States, Paraguay, and the winner of the European playoff between Türkiye, Romania, Kosovo, and Slovakia.

Yazbek has been capped eight times for his country, including playing in their final two World Cup qualifiers and four of their last six friendly matches.

Goalkeeper Xavier Valdez has been the nailed-down No. 1 for his country, earning 19 caps and starting 14 of their last 15 matches. Despite being third on the Nashville SC depth chart, he's proven at the international level and will continue to develop at just 22 years old.
