Brian Schwake - 8.5

Brian Schwake got on the scoresheet with a great assist and saved a penalty from Lionel Messi in the same game. Honestly, no one would blame him if he went on for the rest of his life bragging about that.

The goalkeeper had a small mishap with the ball in the first half, but he recovered well and bounced back immediately. He was again strong with his feet and had three saves to keep Nashville's lead.

Andy Nájar - 7.0

Andy Nájar opened the scoring with a nice header from a tight angle. He wasn't on the ball as much as usual, but was still heavily involved. He played a few nice long balls and had a couple of good runs. Overall, he was solid defensively and contributed going forward.

Jeisson Palacios - 6.5

Jeisson Palacios was stretched off in the 72nd minute after an uncomfortable landing. He stayed on the bench for the remainder of the game instead of going straight into the locker room, which is a good sign.

He had the most defensive contributions in the match, despite being subbed out. He was also a key contributor with the ball. He looked suspect during Miami's goal and gave up a penalty, but otherwise the Colombian had a good showing.

Maxwell Woledzi - 7.5

A good shift by Maxwell Woledzi, who was overall solid. He remains one of the best center-backs in the league, especially with the ball at his feet. There were a couple of shaky moments in his positioning where he might have been too aggressive, but he recovered well for the most part.

Reed Baker-Whiting - 7.5

It wasn't the best first half from Reed Baker-Whiting, who struggled to connect on his passes and was beaten a couple of times. He had a much better showing in the second half, especially going forward. He played a huge role in Nashville's second and third goals, earning himself two secondary assists.

Matt Corcoran - 8.0

Matt Corcoran had an excellent match, covering a lot of ground and playing on both sides of the ball. He ended the match with the second-most defensive contributions for Nashville, which is a huge step for the young midfielder. He was overall secure on the ball and had a couple of great long passes forward.

Eddi Tagseth - 7.5

A strong showing for Eddi Tagseth, who was all over the pitch, living up to his Norwegian Nuisance nickname. While his pressing and defensive work is incredible, he has room to grow in his attacking output, but has made significant improvements since the break.

Elias Saad - 9.5

Elias Saad had one of the best individual performances in Nashville's history. He caused Miami a myriad of problems on the left flank and continued to go at his defender, often getting the best out of him.

The Tunisian looked like he belonged with the rest of Nashville's attack, despite having been with the team for less than a month. His delivery was also on point, contributing with two primary assists and one secondary assist.

Cristian Espinoza - 7.5

Cristian Espinoza might not have been the cleanest with the ball against the Herons, but he was relentless with and without possession. For a high-touch creative player, he tracked back and pressed incredibly well. He ended his shift with a nice assist as well, solidifying his spot as Nashville's top contributor for the season.

Hany Mukhtar - 9.0

Another great performance from former MVP Hany Mukhtar. He ended the match with a brace and worked tirelessly off the ball. The German dictated much of what Nashville did in possession but was also a threat on the counter. We are truly running out of superlatives for Mukhtar.

Sam Surridge - 8.5

Sam Surridge scored one of the most beautiful goals, with an incredible backheel. Aside from the goal and the work off the ball, both of which have become normal, he was involved in Nashville's attack.

The Englishman is at his best when he is able to interplay with the attackers around him, and that was on full display Saturday night. He ended the match with 37 touches, 17 more than his per-90 average.
