Round One teams
The remaining 22 sides will all be drawn into Round One. These clubs have been sorted into three separate categories, based on their position in the latest Concacaf Club Rankings. Nashville are ranked 20th overall, and 13th-highest among MLS clubs.
The three highest-ranked clubs — Cruz Azul, Tigres UNAL and Club América — will be pre-seeded as follows:
- Cruz Azul (Highest-ranked)
- Tigres UNAL (Second highest-ranked)
- Club América (Third highest-ranked)
The 19 remaining teams have been divided into two pots, to be divided into two "position pots".
- Pot A: A1, A2, A4, A5, A6, A8, A10, and A11
- Pot B: B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6, B7, B8, B9, B10, and B11
The top three teams listed above have already had their opponent slot determined. Cruz Azul will play whoever is drawn in position B3, Tigres will play B9, and Club América will play B7.

Nashville SC, one of the top eight ranked clubs, will be drawn from Pot A.
- Vancouver Whitecaps FC
- Los Angeles FC
- CF Monterrey
- Philadelphia Union
- FC Cincinnati
- LA Galaxy
- Nashville SC
- Pumas UNAM
Their opponent will be drawn from Pot B.
- San Diego FC

- Real CD España
- Defence Force FC

How the draw works
With the eight pre-seeded clubs already selected (five in the Round of 16 and three in Round One), the draw will begin by randomly picking a ball from Pot A, along with a Round One bracket position ball from Pot A. This will confirm each Pot A club's matchup position.
Once all Pot A clubs have been assigned a position, the same procedure will take place for Pot B until all clubs have been assigned a matchup.
How to watch the draw
The draw will take place on Tuesday, November 9 at 6:00 pm CT. It will be streamed on Concacaf's YouTube channel, as well as broadcast on FS2 in the United States.
