Camara, 21, was signed by Nashville for a reported $2.5 million during the summer transfer window from Ranheim in the Norwegian second tier. He made his Nashville debut as a substitute in a 4-1 Leagues Cup win over Atlético San Luis, but hasn't played since. He was an unused substitute against CF Monterrey, and hasn't featured in a matchday squad since Nashville's 4-1 win over Inter Miami on August 15.
With Patrick Yazbek called up to Australia, Saturday's match against Toronto appeared to be a chance for Camara to get in a squad, potentially even finding some minutes on the pitch.
Instead, Camara will be taking part in Senegal's U23 training camp from September 27 to October 1, as they prepare to participate in the African U23 Cup of Nations in November 2027, which will also serve as a qualification tournament for the 2028 Olympic Games.
