Nashville SC striker Sam Surridge was named to the MLS Team of Matchday 4 after a 3-1 win over the Philadelphia Union, while defender Walker Zimmerman earned a spot on the bench.

Surridge scored his first goal of the 2025 campaign at Subaru Park, gliding past a pair of Union defenders before finishing past goalkeeper Andre Blake. Additionally, the striker was a consistent outlet for Nashville, allowing them to play direct balls to bypass the Union's press.

Walker Zimmerman earned his first nod of the 2025 campaign with a stellar showing in the back, as Nashville became the first side in MLS to hold the Union to less than two goals. Philadelphia had scored four goals in two of their prior three matches. Zimmerman had a total of 21 clearances, as well as providing the assist for Surridge's opener.
