The newest edition of EA’s most popular soccer video game, FC 27, releases September 25th for the standard edition and September 18th for Ultimate Edition buyers.
The full FC 27 player database was released on August 21st, which means a new year and opportunity to see how ‘The Boys in Gold’ fared in the ratings process.
Nashville SC ratings
Nashville SC had 28 players this year in the initial version of the game. Once again, Hany Mukhtar has the highest overall card in the club at 78. Sam Surridge was given an upgrade of +2,taking his card to a 76 overall. New addition Cristian Espinoza was given an upgrade as well this year, now a 76 overall.
There are six players who received a downgrade this time around. Most notably, Mukhtar's rating dropped a point from his FC 26 rating of 79. Veterans including Joe Willis, Alex Muyl, and Bryan Acosta all received downgrades from their previous FC cards.
Eleven players were given rating increases in the new edition. Goalkeeper Brian Schwake was given the largest upgrade, moving up six points from a 63 to this year’s 69 rating. Maxwell Woledzi saw a plus four to his overall from last year’s card, while Andy Nájar and Jeisson Palacios received a plus three.
Sam Surridge, Dan Lovitz, Eddi Tagseth, and Patrick Yazbek all saw their ratings boosted by two points. Finally, Thomas Williams, Cristian Espinoza and Reed Baker-Whiting all received an increase of one overall.
Malachi Molina, currently in Huntsville on loan from FC Dallas, leads the group in highest overall pace (86), followed by Mukhtar and Espinoza (82), Tagseth and Jordan Knight (both 79).
Surridge has the highest overall shooting with a 77 overall. Mukhtar leads in two stats: 77 in passing and 80 in dribbling.
Andy Nájar is the highest overall defender for the Boys in Gold (75). Muyl and Woledzi have the highest physicality on the team (both 80) ahead of Acosta (78), Surridge (75), and Palacios and Yazbek (both 74).
MLS Ratings
Inter Miami's Lionel Messi once again is the highest-rated player in MLS with an 89 overall. He leads a group of four other Inter Miami players in this year’s Top 30 MLS players. Chicago Fire’s new signing, Robert Lewandowski, comes in second in the top 30 with an 84 overall.
Hany Mukhtar and Cristian Espinoza are the only Nashville SC players in the top 30. Hany Mukhtar is number 14 overall, while Cristian Espinoza rounds out the top 30 at number 30.
