Nashville SC officially sign winger Elias Saad

Tunisian international joins on loan through the 2027 Sprint Season

NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville SC officially signed winger Elias Saad on loan from FC Augsburg, the club announced on Thursday. Saad, 26, will play for Nashville through the 2027 Sprint Season.

“Elias is an exciting attacking player who has the ability to both create and finish scoring chances,” said Nashville SC President of Soccer Operations and General Manager Mike Jacobs in the club's press release. “He fits into our group’s identity on and off the field, and we look forward to being able to add him into an already potent attacking corps.”

Saad is is a native of Germany, but represents Tunisia at the international level. He's made 17 appearances for the Eagles of Carthage, scoring three goals and logging two assists. He started two matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

At the club level, Saad worked his way through the German football pyramid, including a stint playing futsal. With FC Augsburg and St. Pauli, Saad has made 28 appearances in the Bundesliga, the highest level of German football, logging three goals and two assists.

Most recently, Saad played on loan for Hannover 96 in the 2. Bundesliga. At that level, he has a career tally of nine goals and six assists in 50 appearances.

Saad will occupy an international roster slot, and will wear the number 11 shirt for Nashville.
