NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville SC are set to add more firepower to their attack in the summer transfer window. The Boys In Gold are signing Tunisian international Elias Saad, sources confirm to SixOneFive Soccer. The Athletic's Tom Bogert reported first. Saad will join on loan initially, with an option to make the move permanent.

Saad, 26, has spent his entire playing career in Germany. Born in Hamburg, the left winger worked his way through the lower divisions of the German pyramid, scoring 18 goals in 39 appearances with Eintracht Norderstedt.

In 2022, Saad joined FC St. Pauli in the 2. Bundesliga, where he scored 14 goals in 60 appearances. Saad was instrumental in their 2. Bundesliga-winning 2023-24 campaign, starting 30 league matches and scoring seven goals, their fourth-top scorer. After a season with St. Pauli in the Bundesliga, he joined FC Augsburg in 2025, making 11 appearances before returning to the 2. Bundesliga on loan with Hannover 96 for the second half of the 2025-26 season.

On the international level, Saad has scored three goals in 17 caps for Tunisia, and made two appearances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Nashville are currently in first place in MLS, with the season set to resume on Thursday following the World Cup break. The move to add Saad gives them more competition on the left side of their attack, where Warren Madrigal and Ahmed Qasem saw the bulk of the minutes over the first portion of the season.
