NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville SC have signed goalkeeper Will Mackay to a short-term loan from Huntsville City FC for Saturday's match against Toronto FC.
With Brian Schwake (United States) and Xavier Valdez (Dominican Republic) on international duty, former starter Joe Willis is the only first-team goalkeeper available for the match.
Mackay was signed to a hybrid contract with Huntsville and Nashville ahead of the 2026 season. The 18-year-old Real Salt Lake product has been the primary starter in MLS NEXT Pro, keeping six clean sheets in 21 appearances.
Mackay is the first Huntsville City player to appear in the matchday squad for Nashville SC in 2026.
