Nashville SC officially clinched the Supporters' Shield on Saturday, sealing the best regular-season record in MLS with a 2-0 win over CF Montréal.

The Supporters' Shield is unique. It was created and designed by fans. The winning club doesn't even hold the shield themselves; their supporters' groups do. It's a fan-led, fan-centric trophy that also serves an important role in highlighting the most consistent team of the year.
Nashville SC has some of the most passionate fans in Major League Soccer. When attending a match, you’re instantly immersed in the passion and love for the game. That passion stems from The Backline Supporters Collective, Nashville’s loudest fans, bringing the noise home and away. Inside The Backline, there are seven unique supporters' groups who are all about soccer and, more specifically, the Boys in Gold.
Let’s take a closer look at each group and the fans who make Music City special.
The Roadies
These are the OGs. The Roadies were founded in 2014 as Nashville’s first independent supporters group for professional soccer. This supporters group has been here for all of it, starting in the PDL days when the club was called Nashville FC, through the USL Championship era in 2018-19, until now. The Roadies are not just a supporters group; they are a non-profit organization working to make the city of Nashville a better place.
They’ve raised over $50,000 for youth soccer and charities in Nashville since 2020. Their mission is to bring the community together using the game of soccer, bring an amazing atmosphere week in and week out at Geodis Park, and represent the city in away fixtures. Today, they have over 200 active members and are still growing with their love and passion for Nashville soccer.
The Roadies are an independent supporters' group for Nashville SC. We are proud members of the Backline Supporters Collective and the Independent Supporters Council.
La Brigada de Oro
La Brigada de Oro is another historic supporters group of Nashville SC, as they are the first Latin American supporters group in The Backline. This group aspires to create a beautiful, loud futbol atmosphere out of their love for their team. They also look to make a positive impact in the community.
Their passion for Nashville SC and soccer at large comes from their love of their Latin roots. They are founded on the belief, “UNITED WE ARE STRONGER.” This is what soccer is built on; it’s for everyone.
The World Cup showed us people from all over the world coming together over their one love for futbol. Together we are stronger, and these supporter groups, especially La Brigada de Oro, represent this every match.
La Brigada De Oro is a multicultural soccer supporter group located in Nashville, TN.
The Assembly
In 2017, another Nashville SC supporters group was established: The Assembly.
Their logo is inspired by Nashville’s Parthenon. Like The Roadies, The Assembly uses the beautiful game to bring people from diverse backgrounds together to support Nashville SC.
December 20th, 2017 is a date that will live on forever in Nashville SC history. This was the day Nashville won their MLS bid for the 2020 season. On the same day, The Assembly reached the required member count to be an official Nashville SC supporters group for the 2018 season.
The Assembly looks to continue to grow soccer in Nashville, keep being charitable in the community, and cheer on Nashville SC.
The Assembly was founded in 2017 as a Nashville SC Supporters Group. We are a founding member of The Backline and a member of the Independent Supporters Council.
MixTape 615
A mixtape is a compilation of favorite songs from different artists, uniting and playing aloud. Mixtapes are shared to build community and express personal feelings. That's what the MixTape 615 aims to do with soccer in Nashville. Starting in North Nashville, the MixTape is the first Black-led supporters group in the Backline.
We are Nashville’s Mixtape. Here, diverse communities, personalities, cultures, spiritualities, and interests come together through soccer
Music City Heaters
This is another passionate group of Nashville SC fans who are all about inclusivity, making it a perfect supporters group for both newer fans of the club and longtime fans. This supporters group is all about having a good time, treating every game like the spectacle it is and they love letting the ref hear their thoughts!
Music City Heaters are a group for both new and experienced soccer fans who want to be a part of the Nashville SC supporters' culture.
FUBAR Supporters Group
FUBAR was established in 2022 and is a veteran-led supporters group dedicated to improving the lives of veterans, their families and the military community at large. One thing that really unites this group is passion, and that passion can be towards many different areas of life, from Nashville SC to supporting veteran and active military members. FUBAR tailgates hard and cheers loudly for the Boys in Gold.
