Nashville SC head coach BJ Callaghan was named MLS Coach of the Week for the seventh time in the 2026 season, with the Boys In Gold officially clinching the Supporters' Shield after a 2-0 win over CF Montréal.

Under Callaghan, Nashville have earned 70 points from 31 matches, officially nailing down the top seed in the MLS Cup Playoffs, and finding themselves just five points away from the single-season record with three matches left to play.
Wins in either of their home matches would make them the best home team in MLS history, where they haven't lost in their 15 regular-season matches to day. Callaghan is widely viewed as the favorite for MLS Coach of the Year after leading Nashville to a stellar season.
