On Friday, Major League Soccer released roster profiles for all 30 clubs. These profiles are a snapshot of each club after Roster Compliance, which happened on February 20, 2026.

These profiles do not include the total amounts of GAM available to each club. Those numbers will be released next week. The full roster profiles for all 30 teams can be viewed here.

A few quick points to note:

  • Nashville are officially locked into the Designated Player roster construction model, which was set once Cristian Espinoza was signed. With Sam Surridge under contract through the 2027-28 season, Nashville are locked into this for at least the rest of the year.
  • Hany Mukhtar's contract needs to be the priority for Nashville. He's still the best player on the team, and one of the best in MLS. With his deal expiring at the end of the season (with a club option for 2027), signing the 30-year-old to a new contract needs to happen soon.
  • Jeisson Palacios's new contract puts him into the Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) range, meaning that his salary is over the senior maximum of $803,125, a significant increase from his $526,667 salary last season. Nashville's other TAM players are also center backs; Jack Maher and new signing Maxwell Woledzi.
  • Nashville are using all seven of their available international roster slots. Jordan Knight, Warren Madrigal, Ahmed Qasem, Sam Surridge, Eddi Tagseth, Maxwell Woledzi and Patrick Yazbek all require international slots, with Nashville trading away their eighth slot to LA Galaxy for $250,000 in GAM. This slot will return to Nashville at the start of the summer transfer window, giving them at least one open international roster slot. Charles-Émil Brunet does not require an international slot.
  • Notably, MLS changed the rules this offseason, and now players move off their international roster slot as soon as they receive domestic status. In past years, clubs would only free up their international slots if this happened before a set deadline, often roster compliance. Now, if any of Nashville's international players obtain their green cards, they'll immediately vacate their international roster spot, giving Nashville added flexibility.

Stay tuned for a more in-depth update next week when GAM totals are released.
