Hany Mukhtar earns spot on MLS Team of Matchday 22 bench

Nashville SC attacker Hany Mukhtar was named to the MLS Team of Matchday 22 bench. Mukhtar scored a match-winning penalty kick in the 101st minute of Nashville's 1-0 victory over Philadelphia Union on Saturday.

With nine goals and eight assists, Mukhtar is having a resurgent campaign, with 17 goal contributions already in 2025. After a frustrating 2024 campaign, the 2022 MLS MVP winner is justifying the new contract he signed last year, making him among the highest-paid players in MLS.
