NASHVILLE, TN – Nashville SC striker Sam Surridge will not be involved in Tuesday night's Concacaf Champions Cup Semifinal against Tigres, missing the squad entirely with a back injury. His status is week to week.

Surridge, 27, was a surprise absence for Nashville's 1-0 win over Club América in the Quarterfinals, missing out with a hamstring issue. He was held out of their 2-0 win in Atlanta, but came off the bench on Saturday night in a 4-2 win over Charlotte FC, scoring two goals in a 45-minute shift.

Surridge is Nashville's top scorer this season, bagging 10 goals in all competitions despite playing just 53% of potential minutes. In his absence, 22-year-old striker Warren Madrigal gets the nod up top next to Hany Mukhtar, with Nashville looking for a win at home against one of the regions top teams to put one foot in the final.
