Huntsville City's Will Mackay to compete in MLS All-Star Skills Challenge

On Friday, Major League Soccer announced the list of participants in the All-Star Game skills challenge, set to be held on Tuesday, July 28, in Charlotte, NC.

Huntsville City FC goalkeeper Will Mackay will compete in the Goalie Wars portion of the challenge, facing off against Houston Dynamo 2 'keeper and reigning 2025 champion Pedro Cruz.

In the event, the two goalkeepers will attempt to kick, punt, and throw the ball into their opponent's net from close range, with the clock counting down to see who can score the most goals in the alloted amount of time.

Mackay, 18, joined Huntsville City ahead of the 2026 season after coming through the Real Salt Lake academy. In 13 appearances, he's kept four clean sheets for the Rocket Men, and his 72.3% save percentage is the seventh-best in MLS NEXT Pro.
